                 FRED HOLLOWS

Fred Hollows (1929-1993)
 Fred had only one year of formal primary schooling at North East Valley Primary School. While he was there he played the trumpet. Fred started at Palmerston High School and wanted to join several clubs and finished wanting to join the clergy. He was an excellent student and was great at his studies.

.He decided to become an eye surgeon. In 1965 Fred issociated in New South Wales. Fred came to australia because he wanted to become a associate professor of ophthalmology at the University Of New South Wales. Fred got to australia by an airplane.

Fred had a big impact on australia because he gave thousands of people get back thier eyesights (most of them were aboriginies). He was known around the world from his great acheivement as an eye surgeon.
